Veolia Water Solutions and Technologies are to supply PT Asahi Indofood Beverage Makmur with a wastewater treatment plant for a beverage production facility.
The beverage plant is in Sukabumi, West Java, Indonesia and the anaerobic wastewater treatment system will feature Biothane UASB (Upflow Anaerobic Sludge Blanket) technology.
Pre-treatment processes, screening and solids removal will remove suspended solids, fats, oils, and greases. Biothane UASB technology and an activated sludge aerobic treatment will treat the effluent.
Asahi Indofood will be able to process 1,950 m3/d of wastewater with a daily COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand) load of 5,850 kg.
